Reward for Poor Performance
Hold on to your seats....even in this economy people are still performing below standard. Continue to hold on to your seats because the reward for poor performance is less work. No, I am not kidding. A woman at my job has been absent excessively and when she comes to work she performs as if she is still at home. Now get this....today they rewarded her by taking her work load and giving it to everyone on the team. You would think that this means she doesn't have a job...no, she now has even more free time with the same paycheck. Ugghhhh! So now I have to work harder because she didn't work from the beginning. She will get to show up and have a smaller work load. Help! Someone help me come to terms with this type of reward for bad behavior. How would you feel if your work load increased by 50% because of someone else who receives no decrease in pay? What should I say to the leader of this company?

trash cans would be kicked all over the place!
there's NO way this would go down around me.
helloooooo!!!!!! houston, we have a problem!
Oh, that's just universal language! I don't care where you go (city, state, system) but the hardest worker is just the worker bee and that's it. Lazy bones just seems to get by. . . Let's not get back into this conversation about the percentage of the check/personal days to the "sorry" employee!!!!!!
STOP PLAYING!!!!
Been there done that....for me it was a race situation. But after a lot of bitching:) I knew I needed a job:( and so I made the best of it and learned a myriad of new and interesting things that helped me to be better today. Just remember--He meant it for your good!!
Tanyetta you are killing me with "kicking the trash cans over". I need to hear that story. lol
I hate it when I do a job well done and someone else takes credit for it. I now see that it happens every where, but what can we do but either be quiet about it or complain? Then what happens....we collect enemies either way. I do not know how to solve this one. I say JUST DO WHAT YOU THINK IS RIGHT!
