Selfish people...
In the past several weeks, I have had conversations with different people about different examples of selfish behavior. The theme is clear....2009 is the year of the selfish. What is your definition of selfish? Give me an example. Here's mine....When you ask more of your friend, partner, spouse, children...etc than you give to them. There are varying degrees of selfishness in my opinion. A small degree....calling someone and only talking with them on the cell phone until you get to your destination....LOL

When you call to talk to someone and they take over the conversation, leaving no room for the orgiginal converstation you called about. . . .
Always taking the same kids back and forth to events or stay overs and the other parents not willing to share in the exchange of activities.. . . just selfish. . .
Girl...you hit it....LOL How about the people who only call when "they" have a problem...?
This is a good topic, well like you said selfishness has varying degrees of severity. How about this you haven't eaten all day and your spouse don't want to share her cornbread. I don't mean my wife. Sis Sis not talking bout Tika. just a simple funny response.lol
WOW I have all those things happen to me I just thought that was what friends are for. To vent, to share and yes even lay burdens on them. I am sure we have all been there. I guess everyone displays some selfish behavior even when they think they don't. Remember perfect does not have an I or a U in it:)
ALL OF YOU ALL ARE RIGHT.... I AM GUILTY OF IT AND I HAVE HAD THE SHOE ON THE OTHER FOOT. Good statement though. I am all late! :) People are selfish in their own way how about the infamous....i am ready to go home, they say..but their work is not even done and we waiting on them and they do not realize it. Any way people are people I do not think that will ever change. We need to think about other people feelings on a day to day basis and help someone else if it is by saying hello or asking if they need help.
