PAPER, BOOKS, PENS, PENCILS..OH, MY

Yes, school is back in session. "Can you say tired?" The children are excited. My husband is all smiles. And I, well, I need a Calgon day. Between first day planning and open house for high school, middle school and then elementary school, I am looking forward to a day of rest. Plus, living with a high school student is a whole new adventure. Please someone help me get use to the idea that I am old enough to have a child in high school. And while we are on the subject, tell me why the male students in high school look so much like grown men? I am not ready to drop my child off in a "den of thieves" every day. Okay, I know that was melodramatic but that's my baby girl.

I know the purpose is to write a daily journal sort of thing. Since I still have dial up....anyway. I can feel your pain about the opening of school. I am already overwhelmed!! I am excited about my baby girl going to middle school. I hope her head stays in the right place. Have a great school year. By the way, where are you on your journey to VA?
