30 miles down...many miles to walk. Yes, I have completed 30 miles of my trip to VA. I have managed to get others to track their miles. So, if you haven't jumped on board....get started. Most of us want to be in better shape. This is a fun way to reach your goal. Let me know how many miles you have walked or how you are trying to get in shape.

WALK THIS WAY...

As some of you may know, I am walking to VA. Okay, not literally, but metaphorically. It is 308 miles from here to my hometown in VA. I am going to see how long it takes to walk 308 miles. So far I have knocked out 8 miles. Only 300 more to go. Want to walk with me?

Yes, school is back in session. "Can you say tired?" The children are excited. My husband is all smiles. And I, well, I need a Calgon day. Between first day planning and open house for high school, middle school and then elementary school, I am looking forward to a day of rest. Plus, living with a high school student is a whole new adventure. Please someone help me get use to the idea that I am old enough to have a child in high school. And while we are on the subject, tell me why the male students in high school look so much like grown men? I am not ready to drop my child off in a "den of thieves" every day. Okay, I know that was melodramatic but that's my baby girl.

Cousin Kim and her family came to Charlotte for the weekend. Laughter does the heart good. Even after days of laughing and jokes, we got up Sunday, headed for Wally World and laughed more. They just left and we all cannot wait for the next "fam" laugh-fest.

On a visit to Charlotte, Grandma Marion enjoys time with Amber, Alexis, Jai and AJ. This picture was taken after a great morning service at church where Granddad Bill introduce the whole Edwards Fam in a stellar manner. Great job Granddad. Everyone enjoyed an awesome meal where in true Edwards fashion Brian got up to get his own coffee cup. The waiter was too slow for him.
